The security aspects of IT Systems (IT Security) have evolved into a critical aspect of commercial success. This is prooved by the dependency of business procecces on the availability of IT systems, the guarantee of data integrity by growing complexity of the systems and the demands of trust for opening new markets and technologies. R&D and economy are invited to face these challanges together. To do so, the University of Applied Sciences of Regensburg hosted the
1st IT Security Forum
on October 14th 2005 at the faculty of mathematics and computer science.
The aims are to offer a platform for communication for local and Bavarian business companies and a place to get to know others - just under the motto "Research Meets Business".
Defining business zones for shared develpoments and bundling ressources are the explicitly desired results. I am glad to welcome you to the 1st IT Security Forum of the FH Regensburg.
